London, the sprawling maze that is the big smoke. A city steeped in history, around every twist and turn of the cobbled streets there is a grand Victorian building or an oak-beamed pub. London grew up over time which makes it both the most beautiful and eclectic city I have experienced so far.

Iconic means that something has become a symbol or can represent an idea, time, or place and is forever associated with it.

What comes to mind when you think of London? Perhaps a smoggy city, with men walking round in bowler hats? This may have been how London looked in the 1920s, but much of iconic London can still be seen today.

So, on your next trip to the big smoke, keep an eye out for these iconic London images.
