Matilda, the musical, is on at the Cambridge Theatre. I took my grandmother to see it, we both loved the theatre and it was an annual tradition to make a trip to the Westend. I took her as her Christmas present, and she loved it just as much as me! Over all, it was fantastic, fun and full of energy. I know that a lot of West End Musicals can be expensive, but Matilda, I thought was well worth the money. It will be much more memorable than your average night out and is a stone’s throw away from Leicester Square and Covent Garden (if you aren’t from London they are both Lovely parts of London to simply go and have a wander around), great if you wanted to go for dinner before or out for a cocktail afterwards.

Yes! The best thing about Matilda, is that it is suitable for all ages, there were children and families in the audience, a group of girls on a girl’s night out, couples in their 20s and retired couple.

How is it different to my other favourite West End Musicals?

It is a fun musical, which is great and sets it apart from my other favourite musicals, as they tend to have very sad, touching moments. Whereas Matilda is singing and dancing happily all the way through. Even when Matilda is dealing…
